MG has been revealing numerous sketches, teasers, and a proper concept as well last year but we haven’t really had a surety whether we will be able to see MG back or not. Now, MG has FINALLY confirmed that the Cyberster will be going into production.
The Cyberster showcases cutting edge looks and has been designed by SAIC Design Centre. It’s a nod to the MGB Roadster and its sharp exterior showcases the 70s and 80s youthfulness along with futuristic electric hypercar like design cues.
The Global Executive Director of SAIC Design Centre, Shao Jingfeng, is the head honcho of the Cyberster’s design and with his team of designers, he and his team created 25 major elements and 97 sub-elements of the roadster.
MG hasn’t forgotten its roots with the Cyberster with the taillight design taking inspiration from the Union Flag. Talking about the back of the Cyberster, it’s got a ducktail spoiler which we like.
Information regarding the electric powertrain isn’t there but MG is claiming that the Cyberster will be able to do 0-100 km/h in less than three second and have a range of 800Km.
The Cyberster’s interior will feature an e-sports cockpit built by MG in collaboration with Bilibili e-sports and also 5G connectivity will be available inside the car.
