Interview with Kashif Bhaor About His Passion for the Toyota 86

Toyota 86 Kashif Bhaor

Who is Kashif Bhaor?

Co-founder and member of one of the most prominent clubs in the region, the Emirates 86 Club. Kashif is a car enthusiast who owns a Toyota 86 and has a keen interest in anything related to engine modifications.

Q&A

What is your name?

Kashif Bhaor

What car do you own?

Toyota 86 – 2013

What attracted you to cars?

It's hard to pinpoint a specific moment, but it might be because I was amazed as a child at how cars made transportation easier. Additionally, the sound of engines felt like music to my ears, and a friend of mine had several cars that he showcased at events. Combine all these reasons, and you'll see why I am passionate about cars.

What makes your car special?

Apparently, my car is the only one in the UAE equipped with a coil and Tein EDFC horse. Having Keiichi Tsuchiya's signature on the dashboard makes it even more special; for those who don’t know, he is the person who invented drifting.

What modifications do you have on your car?

I've installed new bumpers, front Velox spacers, and A-C-E headers, but I’d like to keep the rest a secret.

What car would you consider replacing your car with?

It would definitely be the new Ford Focus RS, with its new all-wheel drive system and stock turbo; I would be very curious to see how long it takes to finish a lap.
