Introduction

The Renault Koleos and Talisman were recently launched in Paris, with journalists from around the globe attending the three-day event. YallaMotor was one of only two representatives invited from the UAE.

Details of the Journey

Transitioning from the hot climate of the UAE to a beautiful spot in Europe, we boarded a flight to the stunning Molitor Hotel. Upon our arrival, we received a warm welcome from the hotel staff and met several Renault executives, including:

Yasmin Aitach – Renault Communications Manager for the Middle East

Day One of the Event

Renault Talisman 2017 Front

On the first day of our itinerary, we started our morning beautifully by heading to the Hotel de Joie de Vivre, arriving in a Renault passenger car (Escape). We drove the Renault Talisman for approximately 60 km as part of our city tour. Unfortunately, the diesel version and the initial model will not be available in the UAE.

Driving Experience

After completing the Mortefontaine circuit, we were invited to a delightful dinner to admire Renault's manufacturing line. The Clio RS looked stunning in its bright yellow color. We were very excited to experience the Koleos on off-road terrains.

Off-Road Experience

The off-road segment, although more conventional compared to the arid deserts of the Middle East, allowed us to gain a solid understanding of the vehicle and experience a new model, feeling how the electronic system harmonized to overcome obstacles on the path.

Day Two: Exploring the Champs-Élysées

After resting at the hotel, we set off to the Champs-Élysées and Renault's exhibition. "Atelier" is a term we use for something different from any standard exhibition. It features shopping areas, play zones, and a restaurant.

Tour of the Palace of Versailles

We began the second day at 8 AM, with ten beautiful blue Renault Koleos cars gracing the entrance of the Molitor Hotel. We drove for three hours, covering over 160 kilometers, passing through small towns and visiting the famous Palace of Versailles.

Conclusion of the Event

As our tour concluded, it was time to return to the hotel, pack our bags, and head straight to the airport. Once again, we thank Renault Middle East for hosting us and providing the opportunity to get closer and learn more about the new models.
