Dubai, UAE – The long awaited launch of the SRT Viper GTS has finally come. Street and Racing Technology (SRT) has brought back the snake with more power, a lot more power. The Viper was revealed in a very dramatic and electric manner at Conrad Dubai.Â
SRT are proud that the Viper GTS is hand built from top to bottom at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit, which has been the snake’s home since 1995. The all new Viper incorporates more engineered exterior design queues while maintaining its mean pure American muscle feel.Â
The Viper GTS is powered by an enormous 8.4 liter V-10 engine that is mated to an improved Tremec six-speed manual transmission where at the sixth gear with a maximum engine speed (6200 RPM) a top speed of 331 is achieved. This setup provides the viper with a power figure of 660 HP and a torque figure of 814 Nm which is the most torque available on any naturally aspirated sports-car engine in the world.
