McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has decided to showcase its latest offerings at the Geneva Motor Show.
Featured Vehicles
McLaren P1 by MSO
The McLaren P1 by MSO is one of the 375 road-legal versions produced, presented with a full visual carbon fibre body that has been hand-laid. It features a bespoke ‘Lio Blue’ tinted lacquer. The Geneva Motor Show marks the first public display of the full visual carbon fibre body conversion, which has been made available to McLaren P1 customers earlier this year.
Key upgrades completed by MSO include:
- A gloss black finish to the wheels
- An extensive re-trim of the interior with carbon black Alcantara and contrasting blue stitching
- A 24-carat gold exhaust heatshield, paying homage to the McLaren F1
675LT Spider by MSO
Making its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show, the 675LT Spider is limited to only 500 examples worldwide, with each model already accounted for. The MSO team has developed a one-off example of the track-honed Spider, finished in Ceramic Grey from the MSO Defined range, featuring even greater levels of carbon fibre than the standard model.
Highlights of the 675LT Spider include:
- Satin carbon fibre retractable hardtop and tonneau operable at speeds up to 40km/h (25mph), saving 1kg
- Front wings with carbon fibre louvres
- ‘Longtail’ Airbrake finished in body colour on the upper surface, showcasing natural carbon fibre weave below
- Aerodynamic front bumper end plates, side skirts, side intakes, and rear bumper finished in visual carbon
- Black Alcantara trimmed racing seats with contrasting Xenon Yellow stitching
- Rotary Handling and Powertrain controls on the Active Dynamics Panel finished in Solis, a unique colour for the 675LT Spider
- Visible gold detailing around the titanium exhaust system with a 24-carat gold heatshield
