Introducing the Mercedes AMG GT
Mercedes achieved significant success when it unveiled the AMG GT in 2015. This car stands apart from other supercars and represents a welcome change from the SLS AMG. The AMG GT is entirely manufactured by Mercedes AMG, unlike the SLR, which was developed in collaboration with McLaren. The GT is exceptionally beautiful and one of the most elegant models available.
Performance Specifications
However, the only complaint from customers is that they expected more power. In my opinion, Mercedes has done a commendable job with the specifications and pricing. It competes closely with the Porsche 911. The 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 engine produces 503 horsepower, which is on par with the 911, but not as powerful as the 700 horsepower you might expect from a Ferrari or Lamborghini.
New Release: Mercedes AMG GTR
Now, the more powerful AMG GTR is set to launch, as announced at the Goodwood Festival. So, what distinguishes the GT from the GTR? A boost of 67 horsepower. Yes, the AMG GTR generates 570 horsepower, which is quite similar to the SLS AMG. It features the same engine but with modifications.
