At a building in Dubai Sports City, Mercedes-Benz Middle East unveiled the largest model in its vehicle lineup: the Mercedes-Benz V Class.
Design and Features of the Mercedes-Benz V Class
This van is built on the popular Vito van design to compete with vehicles like the Chrysler Voyager and Honda Odyssey. The V Class is distinguished by luxurious and elegant features that set it apart in this vehicle segment.
Trims and Pricing
The V Class comes in three different trims (Standard, Avantgarde, Exclusive), with prices starting at AED 184,000. It is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine found in the A250 hatchback and CLA250 coupe.
Technological Features and Performance
Roland Schneider, CEO of Daimler Commercial Vehicles in the Middle East, stated: "The V Class offers much more than what has previously been available in the market. It excels not only in the functional performance typical of multipurpose vehicles but also in comfort, high-level design, technological innovation, and craftsmanship, placing the V Class at the forefront of this vehicle segment."
Unique Features
Some of the features equipped in the V Class include:
- Strong Wind Assist that monitors high winds and prevents the vehicle from drifting out of its lane.
- Attention Assist that alerts the driver about mistakes occurring around them.
- Parking Assist and a Burmester sound system.
The V Class is available in two wheelbases (3,200mm, 3,430mm) and is also 132mm longer than the outgoing Viano van, accommodating up to 8 people with various seating configurations.
