Mercedes showcased this remarkable EV concept at LEAP 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center from March 4 to 7. The concept made quite an impression on attendees.

With a drag coefficient of 0.17, the EQXX showcases a completely new approach to car design, featuring curves akin to the McLaren Speedtail but taken to another level.

Solar-Powered Performance

The true marvel of the EQXX lies in its powertrain, which can harness solar energy. Equipped with 117 solar cells developed in collaboration with Europe’s largest solar energy research institute, the EQXX can add up to 25 km of range on long-distance journeys under ideal conditions in a single day.

Luxurious and Sustainable Interior

Step inside the EQXX, and you'll find a luxurious cabin that emphasizes sustainability. Sustainable materials like cactus leather and mushroom-based fabrics create an eco-conscious yet luxurious environment. The car’s display features a 3D navigation system capable of providing a satellite view up to a height of 10 metres.
