MG Motor has released its sales figures for the first quarter in the Middle East, showcasing a remarkable 35% increase in sales. This growth has elevated its market share in the region to 4.7%. The year 2022 has begun on a high note for MG.
Top Selling Models
The standout performer in this growth story is the MG ZS, which recorded an impressive 3,835 sales of the compact SUV during the first three months of 2022. Its popularity has made it the leading model in the compact SUV segment in Oman. Following closely is the MG 5 saloon, which achieved a commendable 2,772 sales.
Market Insights
MG has seen the largest increase in market share in Oman, with Saudi Arabia being its largest market in terms of overall sales volume.
