Introduction
Mini, the British car manufacturer, has been synonymous with compact cars since it began production in 1959. The 1960 model became an icon, establishing the brand's fame. Recently, after producing various models, Mini has decided to develop the Mini Hybrid, marking its first foray into hybrid vehicles.
Car Design
Based on the images released by Mini, this developing vehicle closely resembles the Countryman. The Mini Hybrid will feature an electric motor paired with a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder internal combustion engine.
Driving Modes
While the name of this car has yet to be officially announced, it has been confirmed that it will operate in two driving modes:
- Auto E-Drive: Capable of reaching speeds up to 80 km/h.
- Max E-Drive: Capable of reaching speeds up to 124 km/h.
Engine Features
Additionally, the electric motor will provide power to the rear wheels, while the internal combustion engine will drive the front wheels. This vehicle is expected to launch in 2019.
