Introduction

This week, Lincoln launched the new Nautilus, the latest addition to its lineup of luxury mid-size SUVs. The new model comes equipped with a range of turbocharged engine options and an impressive array of standard modern technologies designed to assist drivers in all aspects of their journey.

Driver Assistance System

The new Nautilus features the standard Co-Pilot360™ driver assistance system, which includes some of the latest technological innovations that allow drivers to navigate confidently. Notably, these features were previously offered only as optional extras.

Technologies Enhancing the Driving Experience

The Lincoln Co-Pilot360 system utilizes cameras and radar to enhance driver capabilities, providing a comfortable and stress-free driving experience. The new Nautilus includes:

  • The BLIS blind spot monitoring system, which uses radar technology to alert drivers to vehicles they may not be aware of.
  • A rear cross-traffic alert system that detects approaching vehicles from either side when reversing.

Director's Statement

In this regard, Sarah Ray, Director of Lincoln Middle East, stated: "The new Nautilus joins the leading lineup of Lincoln vehicles, which includes the stylish MKZ, the elegant Continental, the compact MKC, and the full-size Navigator."

Ray added, "We are excited to provide our customers in the region with the new Nautilus features, including the new turbocharged engines and advanced technology suite designed to empower drivers to embark on their journeys with confidence."

Engine Performance

The 2019 Lincoln Nautilus offers a new lineup of turbocharged engines that deliver a smooth driving experience through three advanced technologies:

  1. Turbocharging.
  2. Direct fuel injection.
  3. Variable valve timing with independent camshafts.

The powerful 2.7-liter turbocharged engine produces 335 horsepower and 515 Nm of torque, while the standard 2-liter four-cylinder engine boasts 250 horsepower alongside efficiency and speed.

Additional Technologies

Both engines come with automatic start-stop functionality, in addition to a new eight-speed automatic transmission.
