Introduction to the Peugeot 508
In recent years, Peugeot has introduced some of the best designs from the French manufacturer, particularly with the new SUV models 3008 and 5008. However, in my opinion, one of the most successful designs recently launched by Peugeot is the new Peugeot 508. In this report, I will detail the exterior and interior design, features, and driving experience of the GT Line version.
Exterior Design of the Peugeot 508
Overall Appearance
The Peugeot 508 boasts a truly stunning exterior design, featuring a fastback coupe style typical for a mid-sized sedan. The front of the vehicle is remarkably distinctive with an aggressive character, highlighted by the grille adorned with chrome accents in the GT Line version, which are inspired by racing flag designs.
Lighting Features
What truly sets this design apart and makes it instantly recognizable as a Peugeot is the shape of the daytime running lights, which extend vertically from inside the headlights to the lower bumper. They resemble fangs that enhance the aggressive look of the vehicle's front, while also serving as turn signal indicators.
Design Details
The clear lines on the hood and sides of the car contribute to the sporty character of the 508, complemented by 18-inch alloy wheels and the luxurious touch of frameless doors around the windows.
One feature that I often mention as an interior advantage, which also enhances the exterior design of the Peugeot 508, is the sunroof. Its black color creates a striking contrast against the red of the car, adding to the overall stunning design of this Peugeot.
Rear Design
The impressive design continues at the rear, featuring chrome exhaust outlets, a glossy black diffuser, and beautifully sculpted three-dimensional taillights, which greet you with a distinctive illumination each time you unlock the car.
In the GT Line version, the trunk opens electrically or via the key, designed in a fastback style with a rear window, providing easy access to the trunk space, which is impressively sized at 487 liters. For comparison, that's 14 liters larger than the Honda Accord, with the option to fold down the rear seats, expanding this capacity to 1537 liters.

The interior continues Peugeot's bold design with a sleek and futuristic layout that harmonizes with the car's exterior. A key highlight of this design, referred to as the i-Cockpit, includes a dashboard featuring two distinct zones.
The 12.3-inch screen can be customized with various preset display options or through a personal setting.
Entertainment System
The second area of the dashboard in the GT Line is adorned with a carbon fiber pattern, housing a 10-inch touchscreen for the entertainment system and shortcut buttons designed like piano keys.
Interior Features
Below these piano keys, there are touch controls for various settings of the dual-zone automatic climate control system. At the front of the center console, you will find the engine start button and the drive mode selector.
Driving Performance
Once you get accustomed to the small steering wheel and the unique seating position in the Peugeot 508, you will discover a lot to appreciate in its driving experience.
The 508 made me ponder several questions: Could someone considering a vehicle in this category, particularly someone who values reliability and trust from Japanese manufacturers, contemplate the 508?
