Red Bull Car Park Drift 2023 in the UAE
Event Information
The Red Bull Car Park Drift event will take place in the UAE for the sixth consecutive year, with the Old Port of Ajman serving as the venue for this year's finals.
Event Schedule
The drifting competition is set to begin on the 25th of this month, with the winner qualifying for the Red Bull Car Park Drift finals, which will be held in Oman on the 9th of next month.
Competition and Participants
With stops in Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Mauritius, Tunisia, Lebanon, Bahrain, and Jordan, all eyes will be on Nissan Silvia driver Ahmed Daham, who has won the event for the past two years and holds the title of Drift King in the UAE.
Scoring System
According to the rules, judges will award a total of 400 points, distributed as follows:
- 160 points for drifting skills
- 40 points for car sound
- 40 points for tire burning
- 40 points for drifting within the zone without hitting cones
- 60 points for car presentation
- 60 points for the driver's approach to corners
Director's Statement
Abdul Fagali, the race director and drift legend in the region, stated: "After six years of qualifying rounds for the Red Bull Car Park Drift finals and three consecutive finals held in the UAE, the competition remains fierce, and the track has become more challenging than last year."

The history of Red Bull Car Park Drift dates back to Lebanon, where it was first held in 2008 at City Mall Car Park, providing drifting enthusiasts the opportunity to test their skills.
