Rimac Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition: A Celebration of Electric Innovation

Rimac has turned 15. Yes, the Croatian electric hypercar maker whose projects seemed like witchcraft not so long ago is now fifteen years old. To celebrate this milestone, Rimac revealed the Nevera's 15th Anniversary Edition.
Al Habtoor Motors, the official partner of Rimac in the UAE, has welcomed this masterpiece to the region. That’s right, the first of nine 15th Anniversary Edition Rimac Nevera hypercars is headed to the UAE. The special edition, unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, has a unique copper hue and also climbed the famous Goodwood hill in record time.
The Rimac Story: Rewinding Back to 2009
In a journey that began in 2009 from the unexpected automotive hub of Croatia, Rimac Automobili has grown from humble beginnings to an industry leader. Founded by Mate Rimac, the company's first major breakthrough came when Rimac converted his E30 BMW 3 Series into an electric vehicle, setting several records in 2011.

This innovation led to the debut of the Concept_One at the Frankfurt Motor Show, with the first car delivered in 2016. The evolution continued with the introduction of the C_Two in 2018, which laid the foundation for the current Nevera. A pivotal moment in Rimac's history was their acquisition of an equal stake in Bugatti, in partnership with Volkswagen, marking a significant achievement and showcasing their growing influence in the automotive world.
Goodwood's Showstopper: The Nevera's Record-Breaking Run
The Nevera's appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed was nothing short of spectacular. This special edition, with its unique copper shade—symbolizing celebration and energy—took on the festival's iconic hill climb. The Nevera Time Attack clocked an impressive 49.32 seconds, becoming the fastest EV production car on the hill in 2023. Brisk!

Uniquely Crafted: The 15th Anniversary Edition's Distinctive Design
Every detail of the 15th Anniversary Edition Nevera has been meticulously crafted. The copper shade not only highlights its celebratory nature but also nods to the material's crucial role in electrical systems. A full visible carbon fiber split offers a striking contrast, enhancing the car's sleek aesthetics.
- Exclusive dual-color alloy wheels
- 15 Years Anniversary badging
- A Rimac pattern mimicking circuit board connections
These features make each unit a unique collector's item.

A Celebration of Craftsmanship Inside and Out
The interior of the 15th Anniversary Edition Nevera is just as remarkable as its exterior. Copper anodized switchgear and painted surfaces echo the exterior’s celebratory theme. Customers can choose between a bold black or pristine white cabin, both featuring contrasting copper leather seats with the number '15' embossed into the headrests.
Special inscriptions on the armrest include:
- "one-of-nine"
- "2009-2024"
Beautiful.

The Pinnacle of Electric Performance
The car boasts a sophisticated battery system, powertrain, and software, all designed to deliver maximum speed and control. The dual motors at both the front and rear provide individual power to each wheel, with a 1MW dual inverter at the rear delivering 900 Nm and 450kW per motor. This setup is managed by Rimac's All-Wheel Torque Vectoring 2, an advanced system that calculates and distributes power with pinpoint accuracy, 100 times per second.
No wonder that the Nevera is the fastest accelerating production car in the world and holds more than 20 performance records. It even broke the Guinness World Record… in reverse!
