2025 Cadillac Escalade: Luxury Meets Performance

Cadillac Escalade

The Cadillac Escalade has been the ubiquitous premium SUV in the U.S. for quite some time. The American carmaker has now unveiled the brand new Escalade. It comes with minor cosmetic changes and a more opulent cabin.

Updated Exterior Design

The styling of the gasoline Escalade is quite similar to its electric brother - the Escalade IQ. The striking design also echoes the design language found in the Celestiq and Lyric models. It features vertical LED-accent headlights at each corner of the bumper, along with a newly illuminated Cadillac crest on the hood.

In V-Series models and higher, the grille surround is also illuminated, enhancing the vehicle's bold appearance. The front end has been significantly updated, featuring a more prominent design with a less pronounced lower lip and additional contouring below the full-width illuminated grille.

The headlight design now includes slimmer horizontal signatures, with most functional lighting integrated into the substantial vertical clusters. Additionally, the Escalade is equipped with 24-inch alloy wheels, the largest ever used on this model, further elevating its imposing presence.

Luxurious Interior with Lots of Screens

Step inside and you will be greeted by a huge touchscreen. Fancy guessing the size? 10-inch? Nope. 12-inch? Nope. 15-inch? Nope. The Escalade now has a massive 55-inch curved infotainment screen. The driver enjoys a 35.0-inch display, while the front passenger has a 20.0-inch touchscreen with video streaming capabilities. Standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

And just so that the rear passengers are not jealous of the screens at the front, they get 12.6-inch diagonal screens, with an optional rear command center that lets them control various settings during long journeys. They can enjoy 5G Wi-Fi connectivity and multiple wireless charging pads to keep their devices powered and stream their favorite shows.

The interior is adorned with quilted and perforated leather upholstery, and generous amounts of open-pore wood create a sophisticated and upscale ambiance. The cabin offers up to 126 ambient lighting options for a personalized environment.

Premium Audio and Additional Features

The Escalade also comes with an AKG Studio audio system as standard that includes 19 speakers. For those seeking a higher level of audio quality, a 36-speaker AKG Studio Reference system is available and can be upgraded to 40 (FORTY!) speakers with the Executive Second Row package. Power-operated doors, adding a touch of limousine-like luxury, are optional but standard on the Platinum and V variants.

Performance and Engine Options

Under the hood, the Escalade retains the 6.2-liter V8 producing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The power is sent to the wheels via a 10-speed automatic gearbox. The Escalade-V comes with a supercharged version of the 6.2-liter V-8 engine, which produces an impressive 682 horsepower and 683 pound-feet of torque. The 3.0-liter Duramax diesel engine is no longer on offer.

The 2025 model version of the Escalade is set to go on sale in the U.S. by the end of this year. No information has been revealed regarding the new Escalade’s UAE launch. More as we have it.
