Highlights from the OMODA and JAECOO Worldwide Media Test Drive

Event Overview

On April 22, OMODA and JAECOO organized their inaugural worldwide media test drive at their Wuhu headquarters in China. More than 100 media outlets from over 30 countries and regions participated, trying out the OMODA 5 and JAECOO 7 models, the first offerings from the JAECOO brand. During the event, participants experienced over 10 challenging simulation programs across three distinct experience zones.

Nearby the full track experience areas, an additional zone was created for the straight-line acceleration experience, allowing participants to experience the force of acceleration under powerful conditions.

Off-Road Experience Zone

An off-road experience area was specifically designated for the JAECOO 7 model. Individuals had the chance to experience the robust AWD capabilities of the JAECOO 7 through off-road programs, including:

• Cross-axis
• Hump
• Side slope
• Double-axle escape

Showcased Models

Over ten projects were showcased in the three designated test-drive zones, featuring two primary designs from OMODA and JAECOO brands, allowing everyone to experience the allure of high-calibre and top-notch products. The OMODA brand also unveiled its first-ever pure electric product, which was presented as a static exhibit at the test site, capturing everyone's admiration.

Driving Experience of the OMODA 5

During the test drive of the well-known OMODA 5, the sturdy frame and powerful engine left a lasting impression. The car's MacPherson front suspension and multilink suspension system minimize excessive vibrations while providing robust support for maneuvering through rough terrain or sharp turns. The 1.6T GDI engine delivers ample power for rapid acceleration and demanding activities.
