2013 Cadillac XTS: A Luxurious Sedan Experience
Cadillac has been experiencing double-digit growth rates in the US, China, and the Middle East over the last two years. An indication of this expansion is GM’s announcement to launch a production facility for the Cadillac XTS in China, starting this year. China, once known as the “manufacturer of all things cheap,” is now a hub for luxury brands. GM recently revealed that the average Chinese buyer of a Cadillac is just 35 years old!
The Middle East markets are filled with success stories from luxury car brands. Notable brands like BMW, Mercedes, Bentley, and Audi are all thriving in this economic climate. Cadillac reported a remarkable 24% increase in sales for the Middle East in the first half of 2012, with the UAE and Saudi Arabia being the two largest growth markets in the GCC. Therefore, it's no surprise that the launch of the 2013 Cadillac XTS took place in Downtown Dubai amidst much fanfare.
Who's your Type? The XTS is designed for luxury buyers—those with deep pockets, expensive tastes, and a love for the executive lifestyle. So, not me.
