2021 Land Rover Discovery: Features and Upgrades

Introduction

As part of its product refreshment spree that JLR is currently undergoing, the 2021 Land Rover Discovery sits at the receiving end of a number of subtle changes both inside and out. The facelifted model boasts revised styling, an upgraded interior, and a number of new engine options.

Exterior Changes

Although difficult to notice at first glance, the revised exterior welcomes:

• New black trim on the liftgate, enhancing the asymmetrical design.

Interior Enhancements

Inside the cabin, the changes are far more noticeable, featuring:

• A new infotainment system similar to the one found in the all-new Defender , measuring 11.4 inches and capable of receiving over-the-air updates.
• A new steering wheel and a stubbier gear lever.
• Minimal buttons and knobs for a cleaner layout.
• Plusher and more comfortable seats for back seat passengers, along with new air vents and updated climate controls.

Engine Options

As for engine options, the 2021 Land Rover Discovery introduces:

• A new turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 296 horsepower.
• A new 3.0-liter in-line-six with mild hybrid technology that pushes out a meatier 355 horsepower.
