2025 Toyota Camry: No More V6 Engine in the New Generation
For many years, the Toyota Camry has been a standout in the world of mid-size sedans, significantly outperforming its competitors. In a bid to enhance its esteemed reputation and remarkable success, Toyota unveiled a completely new generation of this beloved car at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The new Camry is available in four main trims: LE, SE, XLE, and XSE, all featuring hybrid engines with both front-wheel and all-wheel drive options.
Engine Specifications and Performance
In terms of engine specifications, the new Camry is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, paired with two electric motors generating 225 horsepower for front-wheel drive, or three electric motors that provide 232 horsepower for all-wheel drive.

What About the Six-Cylinder Engine?
Unfortunately, this marks the farewell of the six-cylinder engine in the Camry, as Toyota has announced the discontinuation of the six-cylinder engine in favor of the new hybrid four-cylinder engine. Regarding the new hybrid engine, Toyota has indicated the use of a lithium-ion battery to enhance performance and improve range, although its capacity has not been disclosed yet.
The 2025 Camry continues to rely on the same platform as the previous eighth generation but features comprehensive modifications to the suspension system for a more enjoyable and comfortable driving experience. Additionally, improvements have been made to the steering systems and engine response.
New Exterior Design of the 2025 Toyota Camry
In terms of design, the 2025 Toyota Camry has received significant aesthetic updates in this new generation, featuring LED headlights and taillights, along with daytime running lights as standard across all trims. The new XSE trim stands out with stylish touches, including black accents on the rear and 19-inch wheels, in addition to a body-colored front grille.

What About the Interior of the New 2025 Toyota Camry?
Upon entering the new Toyota Camry, you will find a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8.0-inch infotainment screen in the base trims. Meanwhile, the luxurious XLE and XSE trims feature 12.3-inch screens for both the digital instrument cluster and the infotainment system.

Safety and Technology Features
In terms of technology and safety features in the new generation, the Camry comes equipped with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for smartphones, a wireless phone charger, and a 10.0-inch head-up display in the luxury trims, along with a JBL sound system featuring nine speakers.

All trims of the new 2025 Toyota Camry come with advanced Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 systems, which include collision prevention with pedestrian and vehicle detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high beams, and rear cross-traffic alerts.
