Adnoc to Introduce 24-Hour Repair Bays at Car Checkup Stations

Adnoc, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi traffic licensing authorities, is considering the introduction of a new service that will operate repair bays 24-hours at car checkup stations. This initiative aims to reduce crowding during the vehicle registration renewal process.

Col Suheil Al Khaili, the head of the vehicles and drivers licensing department at Abu Dhabi Police, confirmed that a meeting has been held with officials from Adnoc to discuss the initiation of this new service at Abu Dhabi City's main checkup station located on Muroor Road, as reported by Al Ittihad newspaper.

Background Information

Due to rapid demographic growth, the number of licensed vehicles in the emirate has doubled over the past couple of years, reaching approximately 830,000, according to Col Al Khaili.
