Introduction
The new e-tron GT quattro and RS e-tron GT are now available through select dealers in the Middle East. These futuristic electric gran turismo cars embody Audi's vision for the future of mobility and lead the expanding lineup of Audi's electric models.
Performance and Power
Both the e-tron GT quattro and RS e-tron GT combine Audi's engineering prowess and passion for high performance, showcased through an advanced launch control system that enables both vehicles to deliver up to:
- 530 horsepower for the e-tron GT quattro
- 646 horsepower for the RS e-tron GT
Interior Design
The interiors of both cars feature a sleek dashboard that emphasizes a driver-centric design, akin to a "single-seater" concept inspired by the high-performance R8. This design enhances the driver's sense of space and control, offering a low seating position complemented by a wide central console.
Technology and Features
Both vehicles are equipped with advanced features such as:
- Adaptive air suspension with three chambers
- Electronic differential lock on the rear axle
- Matrix LED headlights with Audi laser light (standard on the RS e-tron GT)
Additionally, a variety of optional features are available, including wheels up to 21 inches and all-wheel steering.
Sound and Dynamic Performance
As a dynamic masterpiece, the e-tron GT is also designed to have a distinctive sound. Audi has crafted a unique and powerful sound for the e-tron GT, produced through speakers integrated into the car's structure, adapting to different driving modes—marking a new achievement in automotive sound design.
Efficiency and Range
The e-tron GT quattro can travel up to 488 kilometers before requiring a battery recharge, while the RS e-tron GT can cover up to 472 kilometers (based on the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure - WLTP), thanks to its net battery capacity of 83.7 kilowatt-hours.
The e-tron GT's battery can be charged from 5% to 80% in just 22.5 minutes using high-power charging stations (HPC), making it a high-performance sports car that offers exceptional efficiency, allowing it to travel up to 100 kilometers with just five minutes of charging.
Executive Statements
Karsten Bender, CEO of Audi Middle East, stated: "The arrival of the e-tron GT quattro and RS e-tron GT marks an extraordinary milestone for Audi in the Middle East, as this region is among the first markets globally to offer these vehicles to its customer base. The e-tron GT is a unique addition to Audi's lineup, redefining the design philosophy of this segment for the future."
Commitment to Sustainability
Audi continues its strategy to transform into a sustainable luxury automobile manufacturer with the launch of the e-tron GT. In 2020, the brand with the four rings was the largest producer of luxury electric vehicles among the three major automotive companies in Germany.
