BMW 30 Jahre M3 Anniversary Edition: A Tribute to 30 Years of Excellence

Introduction

BMW has recently taken the wraps off a special version of the iconic BMW M3 at the Nurburgring 24 Hrs. This unveiling commemorates 30 years since the revolutionary E30 BMW M3 made its debut, leading to the creation of the 2016 M3 makeover known as the ’30 Jahre M3’.

Design and Features

The 30 Jahre M3 boasts a striking Macao Blue metallic paint, reminiscent of the classic E30 M3. Additional features include:

• 20-inch alloys from the Competition Pack
• An increase of 19 BHP over the regular M3, totaling 444 BHP
• Specially tuned suspension, differential, and stability systems

Interior and Badging

The interior of the 30 Jahre M3 features:

• Exclusive full leather Merino trim with a special black and blue finish
• Optional black and Silverstone finishing
• A generous amount of carbon fiber accents
• Numerous ’30 Jahre’ badges throughout the cabin

BMW will produce a limited number of 500 units of the 30 Jahre M3, all featuring consistent specifications, including a DCT gearbox, 444 BHP, and a 0-100 km/h time of 4.0 seconds.
