Genesis, the global luxury automotive brand, announced today that it has received two prestigious awards at the 2022 Good Design® ceremony. The Genesis G90 sedan and the ccIC infotainment system earned top honors in the transportation category, thanks to their innovative and distinguished designs that set new trends for the future of automotive innovation.
Genesis G90: Award-Winning Flagship Sedan
The flagship Genesis G90, which epitomizes the most elegant interpretation of Korean design identity, garnered several major awards over the past year. In November, it was named 2023 Motor Trend Car of the Year. The G90 also received the International Design Excellence Award in September and was recognized as a Top Safety Pick+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) last year, thanks to its pioneering features and outstanding safety ratings.

ccIC Infotainment System: Elevating the Genesis Driving Experience
The ccIC infotainment system, built on a digital interface, has enhanced the driving experience since its debut in the Genesis GV60. The system boasts a range of features that take the Genesis experience to the next level, offering an integrated panoramic display that unites the head-up display (HUD), instrument cluster, and audio, video, and navigation (AVNT) systems.
About the Good Design® Awards
The Good Design® Awards are among the world’s oldest and most esteemed honors for design excellence, recognizing the most innovative commercial and graphic product designs. Established in 1950, the awards are organized annually by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in collaboration with The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
For the 2022 edition, the Good Design® Awards encompassed 32 distinct categories. A panel of industry experts meticulously reviewed over 1,100 submissions to select the best and most innovative product designs in each category.
