Global EVRT: Electric Vehicle Journey through UAE and Oman

Over the course of 8 days and spanning 2000 km across the UAE and Oman, the Global EVRT electric vehicle journey is set to kick off tomorrow morning (Thursday, January 17) with the participation of 60 drivers and their 12 electric vehicles.

The vehicles participating in the 2000 km journey will include Tesla, Chevrolet Bolt, and Renault Zoe. The aim of this journey is to educate and inspire users to embrace sustainable transportation. The itinerary also features three e-mobility events in:

• Abu Dhabi on January 17
• Muscat on January 20
• Dubai on January 24

According to Ben Pullen, CEO of Global EVRT: "After a cultural tour in the UAE capital, our drivers will participate in the first electric vehicle Drag Race of its kind at the Formula 1 Yas Marina Circuit."

Itinerary

The itinerary for the journey is as follows:

1. January 17: Launch of Global EVRT at the e-Mobility forum during the World Future Energy Summit WFES in Abu Dhabi, followed by an electric vehicle Drag Race at Yas Marina Circuit.
2. January 18: A 520 km drive from Abu Dhabi to Muscat.
3. January 19: A tour of Wadi Shab in Oman.
4. January 20: A tour of Muscat and the e-Mobility forum.
5. January 21: A 450 km journey from Muscat to Ras Al Khaimah.
6. January 22: A 180 km drive from Ras Al Khaimah to Dubai.
7. January 23: A cultural tour in Dubai.
8. January 24: The final gathering and e-Mobility forum at The Sustainable City in Dubai.
