Infiniti Middle East reaffirms its commitment to road safety through the 'Eyes of Children Awaiting You' initiative, which donates infant car seats to new parents in the United Arab Emirates.

Distribution of Car Seats

In collaboration with the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai, Infiniti Middle East distributed infant car seats at several selected hospitals in Dubai during August. The initiative utilized proceeds from the company’s online car auction platform launched during Ramadan, which achieved high sales in the QX80 SUV category.

Infiniti plans to continue distributing car seats through hospitals in Abu Dhabi later this year.

Experiences of New Mothers

Maryam, a new mother from Dubai who received a car seat from Infiniti Middle East at Latifa Hospital for Women and Children, commented: "This is my first child, and this initiative is truly beneficial for us, especially since being in a car with a newborn is a significant responsibility. We need to ensure our children's safety and take all necessary precautions."

Goals of the Initiative

The 'Eyes of Children Awaiting You' initiative was launched by Infiniti to strengthen its long-term commitment to road safety, aiming to raise awareness among parents and ensure the safety of newborns on the road.

Promoting the use of child seats is a key focus of the initiative, which seeks to ensure that children are safely seated in cars. A regional survey conducted by the brand revealed that 1 in 3 parents were unaware of the legal age requirements for using child seats.

It is noteworthy that the 'Eyes of Children Awaiting You' initiative closely aligns with Dubai's traffic safety strategy, which aims to reduce traffic-related fatalities to 1.5 deaths per 100,000 residents by 2021.
