Jaguar Land Rover Adopts Virtual Reality Technology for Car Sales
Introducing Virtual Reality Experience
The largest British automotive company, Jaguar Land Rover, has embraced virtual reality technology to sell its vehicles to customers in the region. This innovative technology allows clients to explore new models before they arrive at local showrooms, providing a 360-degree view of the car both inside and out.
Manager's Statement
According to Andy Goss, Sales Operations Director for Jaguar Land Rover:
"While our cars are incredibly enjoyable without any enhancements, this new addition to the car sales process will strengthen the connection between customers and our creative capabilities. The virtual reality experience will help dealers break the ice with customers and add more excitement to the purchasing process of Jaguar Land Rover vehicles."
Benefits of the Virtual Reality Experience
This new experience will be available to 1,500 exclusive dealers across 85 car markets and will be customized in 20 different languages. The technology is expected to be available by the end of the month, allowing customers to engage and learn about every vehicle the company launches. It will provide a comprehensive view under the hood, showcasing the unique features and technologies present in each car through animated visuals.
History of Virtual Reality Technology Use
The first instance of virtual reality technology was introduced during the launch of the Jaguar F-PACE in the UK last year, and it will be utilized for every new model launched throughout 2017, starting with the all-new Land Rover Discovery.
