Introduction of the Lexus UX
Aiming to capture a larger audience and make a strong impact in the SUV market, the Japanese automaker Lexus has confirmed the unveiling of the highly anticipated UX crossover and the new version of the seven-seat SUV RX at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show.
About the Show
The Tokyo Motor Show will take place from October 27 to November 5, featuring many major automakers, including Toyota and Nissan. The event is set to showcase the new generation of the long-awaited Toyota Supra and the Nissan Z as part of the global exhibition.
Expectations for the Lexus UX Design
Lexus's intentions are quite clear. Following the launch of the RX350L and RX450hL earlier this year, it is likely that we will see models such as the UX200, UX250, and UX250h. The UX will be the smallest SUV in the Lexus lineup, positioned below the NX and RX. It is expected to feature the signature spindle grille design that the Japanese automaker is known for.
Statements from the CEO
Johan van Zyl, President and CEO of Toyota and Lexus in Europe, stated at the initial unveiling of the concept vehicle at the Paris Motor Show: "The Lexus UX concept revolves around anticipation and our knowledge of the SUV market. We are ready to embark on a bolder chapter with the UX."
