On 3rd of March 2016, we were invited by Abu Dhabi Motors for a fun-filled event in Abu Dhabi. The event was held at the prestigious Yas Marina Circuit. The track was transformed into the home of MINI for the weekend, with the Abu Dhabi launch of the ‘Yalla MINI’ roadshow. Attended by customers and media, the Yalla MINI roadshow saw attendees at the state-of-the-art racing circuit to see the launch two of the latest models from the iconic British brand: the all-new MINI Clubman and the MINI Convertible.
Hosted by Abu Dhabi Motors, the importer of MINI models in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, the event comprised of both customers and media members having the opportunity to test the performance-oriented MINI John Cooper Works Hatch, the playful MINI Convertible, the civilized MINI Clubman and the surprisingly responsive MINI Countryman on the dynamic racing track – navigating a course that regularly challenges the who’s who of the motorsport world, obviously, under the supervision of the highly professional MINI test drivers. The event put the drivers of all skill levels to the test across 5.5 kilometers and 21 challenging turns.

The drive lasted a good half an hour or so and gave us enough time to experience what MINI as a whole is all about. All the new MINIs are about fun and fun only. If we had to rate the driving capabilities of the cars we tested then the order of preference will be MINI JCW, MINI Convertible, MINI Countryman and lastly the MINI Clubman.
