Dubai has recently introduced new traffic fines and laws, aiming to enhance road safety. This aligns with a decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, as well as the Ruler of Dubai. These regulations, effective from July 6, 2023, enforce stricter penalties for individuals who do not comply with them.

Offenders can face fines of up to AED 100,000 and stricter impoundment rules for their vehicles. Motorists are advised to exercise caution and abide by these amended laws, especially regarding vehicle maintenance and modifications.
