Nissan took the wraps off its latest 2017 GT-R at the New York International Auto Show. The new orange sports car is deemed to be filled with changes that are as important as the day it was announced.
Coming to the changes, the GT-R gets a new modified front end. The front grille has been widened for more air to pass for engine cooling. Moreover, there is a new front spoiler lip for better downforce. There are little touches on the sides as well. The side sills are more exposed now for better air flow. Similarly, the rear end has also received a makeover to improve air flow.

The interior also received some changes. The dashboard and instrument panels are new and the design has reduced the total number of buttons from 27 to 11 thanks to an improved navigation and audio system. There is an 8” touchscreen as well. The engine too received modifications and now produces 565 BHP from the same 3.8 liter V6 mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

At the same time, more refinement has been added to take the entire driving experience to an entirely new level. We’re proud to bring you what we feel is the ultimate GT that possesses amazing performance, newfound civility and a rich racing history,” Hiroshi Tamura, the Chief Product Specialist of the GT-R, said.
