A spokesperson for the RTA addressed the complaints, noting that some bus stops have limited access to infrastructure. They are currently studying alternative energy sources to provide a level of comfort for all users. Specific solutions are being evaluated to identify the best possible options for enhancing bus stop performance using renewable energy sources.

The spokesperson further mentioned that bus stops lacking roofs or shade are also being addressed.
Strategic Plans
As part of their strategic plan to provide a comfortable and convenient service for Dubai residents, the RTA is currently working on installing shade at most high-traffic points, such as waiting areas at bus stops, ensuring they are fully protected from the sun's rays during the hot months.
