Overview of Harat Quick Service
Sharjah Police’s Harat quick service for vehicle inspection and the issuance and renewal of licenses has achieved a 90% customer satisfaction score. Despite the ongoing challenges raised by the COVID-19 pandemic, a whopping 13,000 vehicles were inspected in the past six months by the Harat quick service, with authorities only taking 5 minutes per vehicle.
Integration with UAE Safety Goals
Senior members at Sharjah Police have stated that the move was part of their endeavor to develop and provide integrated services to customers. This initiative aligns with Sharjah Police’s bid to upgrade their services and help achieve the Ministry of Interior’s (MoI) goal of making the UAE’s roads one of the safest in the world.

Future Plans for Expansion
Building on the success over the past six months, Sharjah Police plans to roll out the Harat quick service to other parts of the emirate as well. Vehicle owners can complete the renewal process after they obtain the results of the inspection drive from the Ministry of Interior. Motorists are urged to approach Harat centers in the emirate to expedite the vehicle inspection, issuance, and renewal of licenses.
