Ras Al Khaimah Offers 50% Discount on Speeding Fines

Announcement of Speeding Fine Reduction

Speeding fines issued in Ras Al Khaimah will be slashed in half in the coming three months. The Ras Al Khaimah Police announced that this discount will start from Sunday, August 18.

Purpose of the Reduction

Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, a member of the Federal Supreme Council and ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, ordered this reduction to make life easier for the public.

Details of the Initiative

According to Brigadier Mohammad Al Noubi, deputy chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, this initiative aims to assist drivers with multiple violations. Brigadier Al Noubi further noted:

• The discount will only apply to fines issued for violations caught by radar cameras within Ras Al Khaimah.
• All drivers with fines are encouraged to take advantage of this reduction.
• Fines should be paid within the next three months at any traffic department in the UAE.
