Introduction to the Aston Martin Valkyrie
Built in partnership with Red Bull Advanced Technologies and codenamed the AM-RB 001, Aston Martin's Hypercar has officially been named the Valkyrie. This model continues the tradition of Aston Martin ‘V’ cars, a lineage that began in 1951 with the Vantage, making the Valkyrie an F1 car designed for the road.
Design and Heritage
Continuing the lineage of the Virage, Vanquish, and Vulcan, the Aston Martin Valkyrie propels the distinctive model nomenclature to a whole new level, seven decades after the Vantage started it all.
Creative Vision
According to Aston Martin’s Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman, the Valkyrie perfectly captures the drama of what is the ultimate Aston Martin: “Aston Martin model names have deep meaning. They need to inspire and excite, telling a story that enriches a narrative stretching back over 104 years. The connotations of being chosen by the Gods are evocative and pertinent to a car that only a fortunate few will experience.”
Technological Innovation
While the Valkyrie’s name is rooted in Norse mythology, the Hypercar is a pure expression of modern technology. The partnership between Aston Martin, Red Bull Advanced Technologies, AF Racing, and world-leading technology partners ensures that the Aston Martin Valkyrie delivers performance befitting its extraordinary name.
