Dubai, UAE - A VIP owner of several vehicles has incurred over 9.4 million AED in traffic fines. These fines are not being waived, as reported in The National newspaper UAE. This case, alongside several other VIPs associated mostly with government institutions, public bodies, and car hire companies, has resulted in a total of over 14.3 million AED in fines across more than 20,000 violations.

Dubai Police's Stance on Traffic Violations

According to Maj Gen Mohammed Saif Al Zafeen, head of Dubai traffic, “Absolutely no one is waived their fines, the chief of Dubai Police included, unless there is a substantiated objection,” as he stated in an interview with Al Ittihad newspaper, UAE.
