2013 Peugeot 208 Unveiled in Dubai

Launch Event Overview

Peugeot unveiled the 2013 Peugeot 208 yesterday at Sawa Art Gallery in Al Quoz, Dubai.

The new model replaces the popular 207 range and is available for sale in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other GCC showrooms. The starting price in the UAE for the Active model is AED 55,500 and AED 65,500 for the Allure model.

The launch event resembled a clubbing night out, featuring:

• Dancers
• Disco lights
• DJs
• A well-stocked bar

New Features of the 2013 Peugeot 208

The Peugeot 208 introduces several new features, including:

• Touchscreen interface
• Head-up instrument panel
• Compact steering wheel
• LED lighting
• Multi-functional steering wheel

Key Changes from the Previous Model

Two significant changes were emphasized during the launch:

1. The 208 is lighter than the 207 by 110 kgs, resulting in greater fuel savings.
2. There is an additional 5 cm of legroom for rear passengers.
