Launch of the 2017 Nissan Altima
Nissan held a special media event to unveil the new 2017 Nissan Altima. This model is not entirely new but has been updated to resemble the Maxima. Samir Sharifian, the Managing Director of Nissan Middle East, expressed excitement about launching the 2017 Altima in the Middle East, which complements their innovative lineup and showcases Nissan’s future vision. He emphasized the Altima's popularity in the region and noted that the aesthetic updates would enhance the car's appeal and features.
Exterior Design

The front of the Altima features a fresh look with new bumpers, roof design, headlights, and fog lights. One of the significant updates is the front grille and headlights, which are reminiscent of the Maxima. The headlights include:
- High halogen beam
- Low beam lights
- LED lights
- Daytime running lights LED
The rear of the Altima has also been redesigned.
Performance and Features
Along with the new appearance, the CVT transmission has also been updated. The fuel consumption rate is now 7.5L/100km. The engine options are:
- 2.5 liters
- 3.5 liters
The central display screen is available in sizes of 5.0" or 7.0". Safety features include:
- Forward collision warning
- Blind spot warning
- Front emergency braking
- Rear cross-traffic alert
The car will be launched in the market very soon.
