Reintroduction of the Nissan Patrol Super Safari
To the delight of off-road enthusiasts in the region, Nissan has reintroduced the legendary Patrol Super Safari three-door model across the Middle East. Following the launch of its larger sibling earlier in the year, this three-door version comes equipped with numerous comfort, practicality, and high-performance features for rugged terrains.
Statements from Nissan Middle East President
Fadi Ghosn, the Chief Marketing Officer at Nissan Middle East, stated: "We relaunched the Patrol Super Safari Station Wagon in March in response to our customers' nostalgia and strong desire for its return. We quickly realized there was also a significant interest in seeing the reintroduction of the three-door version, so this launch reflects our commitment to our customers and their needs."
Design and Features
The new version closely resembles its larger counterpart with notable features such as 17-inch wheels, gray bumpers, and Super Safari graphics adorning the vehicle's fenders. It is available in two color options:
- Gray with White
- Gray with Gold
The interior welcomes a distinctive copper color.
Performance and Engine
The Patrol Super Safari is powered by a 4.8-liter V6 engine that generates 280 horsepower and 451 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission along with a manual mode. It is also equipped with assistance systems such as:
- VDC system to prevent vehicle skidding
- Cruise control
- Rear differential lock
- Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
