2017 Toyota Corolla: Features and New Design
Tags:
Introduction to the Toyota Corolla
The Corolla is the most famous model from Toyota worldwide. The Corolla is distributed across approximately 150 countries, accounting for about one-fifth of the company's sales. Fans of this iconic car will be pleased to know that it has received a makeover for 2017.
Exterior Design
Front Facade
The front design of the car is completely new, giving it a look reminiscent of a blend between the Yaris and the new Civic. Several new updates include:
- LED headlights
- Chrome accents
- Rear LED lights
- 16" or 17" alloy wheels
The 2017 model looks significantly more attractive than its predecessor, adopting a slightly sportier appearance with sharper angles typical of Toyota and Lexus styling. However, the back design still resembles the previous model.
Engines and Performance
While specific engine details have not been announced, we expect the same 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter engines to be available. There may also be a new transmission system introduced. Additionally, the car will feature the "Toyota Safety Sense" safety system, which includes:
- Collision warning
- Lane departure alert
- Road sign assist
- Automatic high beams
Availability
The new Toyota Corolla will be available in Europe this summer. While we are uncertain how the Corolla will be presented in the Gulf region or what features it will have, if it resembles what we've seen in the photos, it's certainly exciting news.
