Al-Futtaim Toyota, the exclusive distributor of Toyota in the UAE, unveiled the all-new 2018 Yaris Sedan at a special event held at the H Hotel in Dubai. The Yaris Sedan comes with enhanced comfort and safety specifications while maintaining its quality, durability, and reliability, targeting new car buyers and first-time drivers.

Car Design

Saud Al-Abbasi, General Manager of Al-Futtaim Toyota, stated: "The Yaris is one of our key models, appealing not only to retail customers but also to our corporate partners and SMEs. This new model offers much more than high value and fuel efficiency; its exterior and interior design, along with advanced technology, are perfect for ambitious youth and small families."

Exterior Appearance

In terms of exterior design, the new Yaris features sharp headlights and dynamic curves and angles. Its dimensions have been increased by 15mm in length and 30mm in width compared to the previous model. The car boasts a muscular, sculpted design, equipped with a horizontal front grille, LED daytime running lights (in the SE+ version), and larger, more elegant rear lights.

Interior Specifications

The increase in its external dimensions has enhanced the interior space, providing comfort and convenience for all passengers. The car comes equipped with a wide range of technological features, including:

Smart key entry and ignition system
Cruise control
Automatic air conditioning
6 speakers
USB and AUX ports

The interior is available in two color options: black and ivory.

Engine and Performance

The 2018 Yaris Sedan is available in the UAE with two engine options: a 1.3-liter and a 1.5-liter engine; the larger engine generates 106 horsepower and 140 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with a 7-speed CVT transmission and offer fuel consumption of up to 20 km/l for the larger engine.
