Introduction
The Nissan Altima has been a significant vehicle for the brand since its launch in 1992. Nearly three decades later, Nissan has unveiled the latest version of its mid-size sedan at a lavish ceremony at the luxury boutique hotel, W Dubai – The Palm.
Design and Features
The all-new sixth-generation Nissan Altima showcases expressive styling and builds on over 25 years of heritage. Inspired by the award-winning Vmotion 2.0 concept car, the new Altima is lower, longer, and wider than its predecessor, featuring an aggressive stance and optional 19-inch wheels.

Interior Features
Inside the 2019 Altima, the open and airy cabin is enhanced by a wide instrument panel. Key interior comfort and convenience features include:
- Upgraded seats with added bolstering for improved support.
- Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ integration.
- An 8-inch multi-touch color display for complete in-car entertainment.
Performance Enhancements
The 2019 Altima introduces two new engines:
- A 2.5-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder direct injection engine, standard across all grades, offering enhanced horsepower, torque, fuel economy, and cleaner emissions.
- The world’s first production-ready variable compression turbo inline 4-cylinder, replacing the previous-generation Altima’s 3.5-liter V6 engine, delivering the performance of a larger engine with improved fuel efficiency.
Nissan Intelligent Mobility Technologies
The 2019 Altima comes equipped with standard Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies, which include:
- Rear Cross Traffic Alert to detect objects while reversing.
- Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection.
- Lane Departure Warning (LDW).
- Radar-based Blind Spot Warning (BSW).
- Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA).
- High Beam Assist (HBA).
Pricing and Availability
The 2.5L Altima is currently on sale, with the 2.0L turbo model expected to be available in the summer. Pricing for the 2.5L starts at AED 89,200, while the turbocharged model ranges from AED 102,900 to AED 121,800.
