GMC has announced the official launch of the all-new 2021 Yukon in the Middle East. Sitting at the top of GMC’s distinguished SUV lineup, the new Yukon introduces both the premium Denali and, for the first time, the adventurous AT4 trim. This latest generation of the Yukon features class-leading technology1, increased interior space, and a bold, striking design. These enhancements are complemented by advanced engineering and high-performance features, setting new standards in the full-size SUV segment.
Executive Remarks on the Arrival of the 2021 GMC Yukon
Commenting on the arrival of the 2021 Yukon, Luay Al Shurafa, President and Managing Director of General Motors Africa and Middle East Operations, stated: "We are truly honored to introduce our valued customers in the Middle East to the next generation of our premium full-size SUV, the 2021 Yukon. This vehicle not only offers greater practicality but also boasts a wealth of upscale features and advanced technologies, thanks to its expanded interior space. While it showcases modern enhancements, the 2021 Yukon remains unmatched in its off-road capabilities. Completely redesigned from the ground up, we are confident that the all-new Yukon family will surpass customer expectations and continue its unrivaled dominance on the roads."
Powerful V8 Engine Options and Advanced Performance
The 2021 Yukon gives drivers a choice between two powerful V8 engines, catering to diverse lifestyle needs. The all-new 6.2-liter V8 engine with Dynamic Fuel Management (standard on the Denali trim) leads its class among full-size SUVs, delivering an impressive 420 horsepower—making it the most powerful engine in its segment. The standard engine is an all-new 5.3-liter V8. Both engines are equipped with stop/start technology and the innovative Dynamic Fuel Management system, allowing the engine to operate on anywhere between two and eight cylinders to optimize power and efficiency. These engines are paired with an advanced 10-speed automatic transmission and GMC’s Electronic Precision Shift, enabling seamless gear changes via an intuitive push-button interface.
Denali and AT4: Two Distinctive Trims for the 2021 Yukon
At the top of the 2021 Yukon lineup are the premium Denali and, for the first time ever, the Yukon AT4. The Denali offers a leading experience thanks to its bold design, luxurious interior, and high-performance capabilities. Meanwhile, the AT4 trim introduces a completely new persona to the Yukon, fulfilling GMC’s promise to extend the AT4 sub-brand across its full lineup. The AT4 trim perfectly blends upscale driving with unbeatable off-road capabilities, ensuring the 2021 Yukon stands apart from any other vehicle in its class when it comes to outdoor adventure.
