Infiniti teams across North America dedicated thousands of hours and kilometers behind the wheel to fine-tune the crossover’s responsiveness, handling, and overall driving behavior. Engineers from Infiniti’s Arizona Test Center also subjected the QX60 to extreme heat in locations like Death Valley, California, with temperatures exceeding 50°C, rigorously testing the vehicle’s cooling and cabin environment systems.

For years, Infiniti engineers have worked on making the QX60’s cabin exceptionally quiet and comfortable by isolating engine vibrations—even under severe heat and challenging environments. Every component was meticulously evaluated, from the all-new nine-speed automatic transmission developed in collaboration with ZF, to climate and weather durability around the windows.

Performance Engineering and Driving Confidence

Dave Kiesel, Powertrain Performance Manager at Infiniti’s Arizona Test Center, said: “The all-new QX60 delivers a direct and linear acceleration feel, giving drivers the confidence to accelerate, whether on highways or in city traffic. Simply press the brakes, and the speed drops smoothly.”
