Passengers in Abu Dhabi are expressing their dissatisfaction with the non-air-conditioned bus stops located throughout the city, particularly during the sweltering summer months.

Department of Transport Plans

  3. 80 stops in the Western Region.

The total cost of this project is estimated to be around 100 million dirhams.

Features of the New Stops

The new bus stops will be air-conditioned and accommodate approximately 25 individuals. They will also feature manual doors, with some locations offering facilities for people with disabilities.

Additional Complaints

Other complaints include:

  • Broken glass.
  • Graffiti.
  • Uncleanliness at the bus stops.
