Campaign Details

The campaign, which took place from June 10 to June 20, resulted in the arrest of 130 drivers. Among these, 52 were charged with reckless driving, while 78 were found to have modified their vehicles with speed boosters in the neighborhoods of Mazid, Al Dhaher, Um Ghafah, Al Ghawah, Al Wajan, and Zakher.

Official Statements

Brigadier Hussein Ahmed Al Harithi, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Directorate, stated that the law imposes strict penalties on those who drive recklessly. Vehicles or motorcycles will be confiscated for a month, and offenders will be referred to the Public Prosecution for legal action.
