Introduction

As part of its future strategy, Audi presents the second model in its e-tron series, now widely available in the Middle East. The fully electric e-tron Sportback represents the brand's future and is designed with a focus on maximum efficiency. This sporty coupe features high dynamics, with a power output of up to 300 kW and a range of up to 446 kilometers on a single charge. Efficiency and comfort levels are enhanced through a high-voltage battery system and energy recovery functionality.

Exterior Design

The Audi e-tron Sportback combines the strength and spaciousness of an SUV with the elegance of a four-door coupe and the sophisticated character of electric vehicles. Its roof extends smoothly over a bold body, sharply bending toward the rear to mimic the classic coupe design. The vehicle reflects the design traits that distinguish Audi, featuring bold details above the wheel arches and a meticulously crafted rear end. The mostly closed single-frame grille and its vertical ribs come in a striking light platinum gray, a hallmark of e-tron design, making it instantly recognizable as one of Audi's fully electric vehicles.

Sporty Features

The S line model particularly emphasizes sporty features for the Audi e-tron Sportback, equipped with 20-inch wheels and an air suspension system as standard. Key features include:

  • Larger air curtains to enhance airflow.
  • S line badge on the grille.
  • Aluminum door sills with illuminated #S logo.
  • Large rear spoiler and diffuser to improve aerodynamics.

Performance and Efficiency

The Audi e-tron Sportback 55 quattro offers drivers the highest levels of efficiency, performance, and absolute quietness. Each axle is equipped with an asynchronous electric motor powered by three-phase current through electronic power equipment. The standard electric motors deliver a powerful boost from a standstill, producing 400 horsepower and 561 Nm of torque with zero emissions and maximum quietness. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.6 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 200 km/h.

All-Wheel Drive System

The electric all-wheel drive system provides optimal traction and dynamics regardless of road conditions, marking a new era in the history of the quattro all-wheel drive system. This system continuously adjusts the ideal distribution of torque between both axles within fractions of a second. In most driving situations, the Audi e-tron Sportback relies on its rear electric motor to achieve maximum energy efficiency. If the driver requires more power than the rear motor can provide, the front motor engages instantly.

Battery Charging

The Audi e-tron Sportback 55 quattro can be charged during long journeys using DC fast charging stations at rates of up to 150 kW. The battery can reach 80% charge in just under half an hour, sufficient for the remainder of a long trip. The e-tron Sportback 50 quattro can be charged at rates of up to 120 kW and achieves the same 80% capacity in the same time frame as its sibling.

Availability

The Audi e-tron Sportback is currently available for test drives and purchase in the Middle East.
