The all-new luxury coupe, the Lexus LC500, received two design awards at the recently held North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, USA. This leading sports car was honored with the 2016 EyesOn Design award for design excellence in the production vehicle and interior design categories.

Inspired by the Lexus LF-LC, the LC500 won these awards four years after it previously secured the EyesOn Design award for Best Concept Vehicle. The NAIAS 2016 EyesOn Design awards celebrate the best in production and concept vehicles, showcasing their debut at the prestigious Detroit show. Winners are chosen by active and retired design chiefs from automotive manufacturers and heads of transportation design from top art schools.
Performance of the Lexus LC500
The LC500 is the first luxury vehicle to offer a 10-speed automatic transmission, powered by a 5.0L V8 engine. This luxurious coupe is also the first Lexus to utilize the all-new rear-wheel-drive platform, promising enhanced driving dynamics and capabilities.
