The Honda Accord is a no-nonsense D-segment sedan that has been around since 1976 and one that has been the go-to family sedan for many around the world ever since. Prior to the world debut of the tenth-generation model at the Detroit Auto Show on 14th July, Honda has released a teaser image to spread the word well beforehand.

According to press materials released by the brand, the all-new model is the most fun-to-drive and boldly-styled Accord ever – claims that are advisable to be consumed with helpful serving of potent rock salt. Going by what’s been announced, however, the Accord is set to feature three powertrains (two of which will be turbocharged) and could possibly be mated to the brand’s all-new 10-speed automatic transmission.

In addition to the brand’s two-motor hybrid technology, which could make its way to the Middle East, the teaser image reveals a protruding snout and chrome embellished eyebrows that seem to have taken inspiration from the smaller Civic. LED headlamps, LED foglamps, and a bold character line that runs the length of the vehicle lend the Accord a purposeful stance.
