Abu Dhabi commuters are complaining about the non-air-conditioned bus stops around the city, especially in these hot summer days.

The Department of Transport (DoT) is planning to plant 360 air-conditioned bus stops around Abu Dhabi by 2014. The plan is 100 air-conditioned bus stops in Abu Dhabi, 120 in Al Ain and 80 in Al Gharbia, which costs around Dhs100 million.

The new bus stops will be air-conditioned, fits 25 people, manual doors and some even have facilities for people with special needs.

Some of the other complaints are the broken glass, graffiti and dirty bus stops.

As reported by Gulf News.
