Audi’s next generation Q7

Posted by Samar Huneidi on Aug 28, 2013

Audi will release its new generation of Q7 late next year as a 2015 model. The date of the release has been pushed back due to late changes in the car’s designs.

Because of using some materials, like aluminium and some composite materials, Audi engineers will shed around 650 pounds from the curb weight of the current Q7.

Regarding the power, engines will include a 3.0 L and a 4.0 L TFSI units and a 3.0 TDI. A hybrid model is also due according to Audi’s CEO Rupert Stadler.

It is also expected that Audi will use its usual elegant designs for the interior, and an option of third-row seating.
